New Energy Transport is a vertically integrated trucking company that combines low-cost renewable energy and electric trucks to deliver zero-emission heavy road freight. The company is pioneering an innovative business model which utilises on-site batteries and the wholesale electricity market to match the cost of diesel-based freight.

We are building a network of strategically located charging depots along the Australian eastern seaboard, which will enable us to deliver interstate zero-emission primary freight services.
The first of these sites is being developed now, allowing us to offer a secondary freight service in the Sydney and Wollongong region, before the full network is developed.

Emily has built a career out of Australian firsts: she led the transaction and early phase development of TransGrid’s EnergyConnect, Australia’s largest electricity transmission project, won Australia’s first floating offshore wind licence, and authored its first offshore wind supply chain report. She specialises in mobilising politically sensitive, nation shaping infrastructure, thriving in the early phase, where her deep networks across industry and government move first-of-kind projects from concept to investment ready.
